The Forum welcomes Anna Adriani, Global PR & Corporate Responsibility Director, illycaffé

Anna Adriani, Global PR and Corporate Responsibility Director for illycaffé, will speak at the 2012 World Public Relations Forum with more than just coffee on her mind.

Over 6 million cups a day of illy espresso coffee are enjoyed by people from all around the world. Illy is sold in over 140 countries in more than 230 outlets of the Italian-style coffee bars, espressamente illy. That’s a lot of coffee!

Anna Adriani joined illycaffé in 1998 as the Global PR Director in charge of corporate communications, media relations and internal communications internationally.

In 2010 Anna was appointed Global PR and Corporate Responsibility Director, adding sustainability and stakeholder engagement related responsibilities to her portfolio.

From 1995 until 1997, she made a name for herself as the PR Director for Vodafone Italy (Omnitel at that time) and prior to that was a part of the Marketing Communication department at Shandwick, today known as Weber Shandwick. In 2004, Anna worked as a lecturer in public relations theory and techniques at the Udine University, Italy.

We look forward to having Anna Adriani share her knowledge while facilitating the Forum’s focus on raising standards, strengthening associations of public relations professionals, and advocating for public relations and communication management research, practice and professionals.

The 2012 World Public Relations Forum is built around the mission of the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management:

  • To unify the public relations profession
  • To raise its professional standards all over the world
  • To share knowledge for the benefit of members
  • To be the global voice for public relations in the public interest
