Richard Edelman to speak at Forum

Richard Edelman joins the pool of high calibre public relations and marketing professionals presenting at the World Public Relations Forum, in Melbourne from 18-20 November 2012.

Richard was named President and CEO of Edelman in September 1996. Under Richard’s leadership the agency has garnered many of the industry’s top accolades. In 2012, Edelman was added to the Advertising Age’s “Agency A-List” for a second consecutive year. Only one year earlier, Adweek named the firm “PR Agency of the Year”. Edelman also earned comparable awards from The Holmes Report (2011 Global Agency of the Year) and PRWeek (both 2011 Large PR Agency of the Year and 2011 Large UK Consultancy of the Year). In 2009, Edelman was Advertising Age’s top-ranked PR firm of the decade and in 2010, The Holmes Report named it “Agency of the Decade”.

Richard has extensive experience in marketing and reputation management with current assignments for Hewlett-Packard, SAP and PepsiCo. He has counselled several countries, including Egypt, Israel and Mexico on their economic development programs.
